This piece is the product of over 150 hours of dedicated craftsmanship. Through a meticulous technique, it seeks not only to depict the child’s form, but to invite a profound reflection on childhood and the complexities surrounding it.
The child’s direct, penetrating gaze serves as the focal point of the artwork—placing you, the viewer, in an intimate dialogue to process its inherent tensions and depths. Eyes filled with a seriousness and maturity far beyond his years seem to question the future we are building for coming generations.
The contrast between the innocence of youth and the harshness of his surroundings creates a palpable tension, compelling us to question the social structures and ongoing inequalities of our world."
